The villa has been designed in U shape to create an internal courtyard to give more privacy. It is made by simple volumes interrupted by large windows that make it one with its surroundings.

The restaurant is located along a front porch walking area in a new area of Doha called Musheireb.

The villa has been designed to be totally open to the sea and at same time to protect itself from the sun rays. From the beach, it appears like a glass box inserted into a frame.

This space has been separated in 2 different units for 2 families. The interiors are rigours, modern classic, with a strong spatial impact.

The building was designed by 2 wings: the shape appears as a game of blocks around a central courtyard. The interiors design respecting the original structure of the building, dividing the ground floor area in 2 sections, one for the majilis and the another for the family.

Architectural project

The villa was built around a central courtyard. The ground floor has been divided in order to allow for different uses: ladies majlis, private area and guest area. A common entrance joins these 3 parts.

Interior design project

As the internal space was originally created as a symmetrical structure with a central open stair, we have made this symmetry stronger at the entrance and in the lobby area, while we left the rest of the house open, separating the family area where the ladies majilis is placed.

Tents for majlis

The majlis is a type of space that in the Middle East can be built by a tent on the external of the houses to accommodate guests while protecting privacy.


Private hospital Doha

Concept design

The building is next to a large causeway motivating the use of large volumes. The internal part is marked by two courtyards that give light and air to the corridors and to the inner spaces. The rooms are outward facing, have large windows protected by a sunscreen system integrated with the external cladding.

“Italian Contemporary Design” is a precise definition of this five thousand square meters private villa located in Umm Salal in Doha.

Interior renovation project

The project involved a re-styling of the entire villa while maintaining the layout unaltered. Living rooms and bathrooms have been modernized with the replacement of all the materials, furniture and lights.

Residential building

The building is located on the main road and includes shops at the ground and mezzanine level and apartments at the first and second level. These two parts are treated in a different way by playing with volumes to characterize the different functions.

The building has been designed in order to give a sea view to each single room. To reach this scope the perimeter of the building is shaped like steps.

Interior renovation project

The villa has a series of spaces arranged around a classic central staircase. The space has been completely modernized and made contemporary through the use of modern boiserie and wallpaper.


Villa Lu

Concept design

The building is located in a narrow plot. Because of this, the design privileges the almost totally “opening” of the front and back facades. The 2 sides facades have a system of hidden windows by striped cladding to preserve the privacy.

The villa has been divided in 2 areas: the men majlis and the family area. The first one, built on the corner of the land is only a volume marked by a curved glass window contained between 2 walls: it represents the public part of the villa for this reason it is totally “opened” to the street.

Conceptual design

The villa has been designed reinterpreting the local building traditions. Some architectural elements as the courtyard, the external stair or the mushrabya, have been revisited in a modern way but keeping their ancient functionality.

The villa has been divided in 3 areas: the private house, the family majlis and the main majlis. The private house develops itself around an internal courtyard used as pool which functions to cool down the temperature.


Villa Mn

Interior design project

The villa has been renovated for the external parts (the facades and the landscaping) and redesigned for the interiors. The typology of the house has obligated us to set up a “new classical” style: white boiserie creates a “clean and pure” environment while colored marbles and customized furniture give identity to the spaces.

The villa has been divided into 3 areas: the house, the private majlis and the main majlis. The house has been developed around an internal courtyard functioned as pool to cool down the internal temperature.

The interiors have been divided in 2 different main areas to satisfy 2 different requirements. The woman's majlis, including the entrance/lobby, 2 sitting areas, dining room and the washing area.


Villa A

Architectural and interior project

The villa has been designed as a “game of blocks”, each related to a specific function: man’s majlis, women's majlis, family area and servant quarter. The man’s majlis area is the more representative one, while being discreet and sober.


Khartum

Multipurpose project

This settlement develops along the banks of the Nile and tends to be a filter between the city of Khartoum and its river giving continuity to the existing urban axis. The project has the following four different logical areas and functions: residential, hospitality, commercial and retail.


Corporate office

Interior design project

A central spine joins the CEO area with the rest of the office. The lobby and representation spaces are located along this spine. The office is characterized by  a glass partition system that allows one space to interact with another.


Commercial building

Architectural project

The building is located next to a large intersection and therefore its main facade is finished uniformly by a metallic mesh that functions as a visual filter and confer reference value as a landmark in the intersection.


Compound Ak

Architectural project

The villa's design consists of clean and pure lines to create a calming visual effect. Large windows are screened by louver blinds, managed by a computer system to guarantee optimal brightness and temperature during the day and between seasons.

Architectural project

The building has been designed to reflect the natural surroundings and benefit from all its qualities, including the inherent challenges. The solar radiation in Qatar while being an exceptional resource, poses significant problems.


QF board room

Interior design project

The table is divided into three parts: the CEO head seat, the podium (moveable) and the guest seats.In the centre there is a circular rotating stand, which allows all guests to view a display.
