Interior design project
The villa has been divided in 3 areas: the private house, the family majlis and the main majlis. The private house develops itself around an internal courtyard used as pool which functions to cool down the temperature. The living room consists in two levels and is distinguished by a curved roof. The windows of the rooms are marked by a system of Arabic decorative panel called (mashrabiyya) to protect them self from the sunrays. The family majlis, is developed around a rectangular pool which represents the connection between the house and the main majlis. The main majlis consists in two main parts: the lobby and the sitting area. The first one appears as a glass cube, properly covered by louvers. The second one is a long rectangular box decorated by perforated panels to allow the view from inside to outside but not the opposite. These panels, at ground floor, create a system of sliding doors.
