As the internal space was originally created as a symmetrical structure with a central open stair, we have made this symmetry stronger at the entrance and in the lobby area, while we left the rest of the house open, separating the family area where the ladies majilis is placed.

The building is located on the main road and includes shops at the ground and mezzanine level and apartments at the first and second level. These two parts are treated in a different way by playing with volumes to characterize the different functions.

Ak

Architectural project

The building has been designed in order to give a sea view to each single room. To reach this scope the perimeter of the building is shaped like steps.

Villa W

Interior renovation project

The villa has a series of spaces arranged around a classic central staircase. The space has been completely modernized and made contemporary through the use of modern boiserie and wallpaper.

The building is located in a narrow plot. Because of this, the design privileges the almost totally “opening” of the front and back facades. The 2 sides facades have a system of hidden windows by striped cladding to preserve the privacy.

Villa Ku

Architectural project

The villa has been divided in 2 areas: the men majlis and the family area. The first one, built on the corner of the land is only a volume marked by a curved glass window contained between 2 walls: it represents the public part of the villa for this reason it is totally “opened” to the street.

Villa Ja

Conceptual design

The villa has been designed reinterpreting the local building traditions. Some architectural elements as the courtyard, the external stair or the mushrabya, have been revisited in a modern way but keeping their ancient functionality.

Palace T

Interior design project

The villa has been divided in 3 areas: the private house, the family majlis and the main majlis. The private house develops itself around an internal courtyard used as pool which functions to cool down the temperature.

Villa Mn

Interior design project

The villa has been renovated for the external parts (the facades and the landscaping) and redesigned for the interiors. The typology of the house has obligated us to set up a “new classical” style: white boiserie creates a “clean and pure” environment while colored marbles and customized furniture give identity to the spaces.

Villa Mo

Architectural project

The villa has been divided in 2 areas: the men majlis and the family area. The first one, built on the corner of the land is only a volume marked by a curved glass window  contained between 2 walls: it represents the public part of the villa for this reason it is totally “opened” to the street.

Corporate office

Interior design project

A central spine joins the CEO area with the rest of the office. The lobby and representation spaces are located along this spine. The office is characterized by  a glass partition system that allows one space to interact with another.

Commercial building

Architectural project

The building is located next to a large intersection and therefore its main facade is finished uniformly by a metallic mesh that functions as a visual filter and confer reference value as a landmark in the intersection.

Compound Ak
